'A Royal Threesome' - This is what Mahie Gill's 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster' proudly declares as its punchline. Well, one hopes that this threesome indeed turns out to be some sort of a challenge at the least when it takes on Katrina Kaif's 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' this September.
"Though both these films are as different from each other as chalk and cheese, there is a thin similarity in terms of characters and setting," says an observer, "It is a known fact that 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' is about this boy (Imran Khan) who falls in love with his brother's (Ali Zafar) 'dulhan' (Katrina Kaif). This results in Kat enjoying all the attention coming its way. Now something similar is expected in 'Sahib Biwi aur Gangster' as well where Mahie, who plays the wife of Jimmy Sheirgill, gets into a relationship with Randeep Hooda who plays a gangster."
With promos of both the films not just fetching good attention for themselves but also finding appreciation from their target audience, rest assured it would be an engaging battle at the box office when Mahie challenges Katrina on 9th September, the day when 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster' clashes with 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'.
